Student Council (StuCo)

The goal of student council is twofold: leadership and service. This group of elected jr. high students seeks to serve the student body and our community while developing a variety of leadership skills within members of the council.

Service to the Community: Student council develops and implements activities to promote student moral and school pride. We also seek to solve the problems of the students at our school. Student Council fosters communication among students, staff, and the community at large.

Organizations we have worked with: Summit Academy Parent Organization, The Utah Food Bank, The Festival of Trees, Utah State Charter School Board, the State of Utah

Developing Student Leadership: Summit Academy Student Council fosters leadership qualities like teamwork, critical thinking, problem solving, active listening, and many more to help students because confident, independent leaders of the future.
