Learn how to take captive photographs by using the elements of composition. This class will teach you how to use a camera, how to change the exposure settings, and will apply this knowledge in real life situations.
This is an introductory course designed to explore digital photography in relation to the elements and principles of design. Students will be introduced to digital photography through the mechanics of the digital camera, how to use basic photography editing software, construct the composition and design of a photo, and observe photography’s application as a fine art and commercial use
In this class we will expand on the skills you learned in Photo 1 and take composition, photoshop, lighting, and storytelling to the next level. Students will get the opportunity to cover events and sports, shoot product photography, use flash to shape light, create composite images in photoshop and design and work on portfolios that will help them transition to college or career.
