 Lisa Cutler’s love for learning and passion for helping both students and staff discover unrecognized potential meet in her role as principal where she strives to bring the worlds of students, teachers, and parents together to create a formidable educational team.

Lisa believes the foundation for this team is building strong relationships and truly seeking to understand one another. She encourages all to see each other’s strengths and give room for one another to work through their weaknesses. She believes this kind of educational community is the soil in which the seed of learning will be most fully nourished.

Lisa is licensed in both elementary and secondary education. She has been in the business of educating students for over 30 years. During that time, she has filled roles as a teacher, instructional coach, reading specialist, curriculum coordinator, grant writer, and administrator. In addition to her educator licenses, Lisa is endorsed as a reading specialist and has a degree in public administration from BYU’s Marriott School of Business. She knows the importance of education and places utmost value in it.

Lisa cares about serving the community and watching out for others. She has organized and led projects in the community including the Festival of Trees and for the Happy Factory, a volunteer organization who creates and ships wooden toys to children in poverty throughout the world. Lisa has also been involved in scouting and received a district award of merit.  Lisa loves spending time with family and adventuring in the outdoors. She has four children and six young grandchildren.

Lisa loves working with every age student and says they are the life of the school. Her vision for the future is to push the boundaries of education into the next stage where students lead more of their own development and growth in their educational experience.
