Assessment Director

Jumana was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri where she attended college at University of Missouri St. Louis and Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville (SIUE) with an undergraduate degree in Psychology. After moving to Utah, she completed her master’s degree in HealthCare Administrator from the University of Phoenix.  

Jumana is married with three children (Mya – 14, Jennah – 12, and Zak – 5) who attended Summit Academy Draper. Jumana’s passion is running (competed in many marathons), biking, hiking, and essentially staying active.   

In 2014, Jumana was hired by Summit Academy as a Paraeducator.  She started as a 6th grade paraeducator, then moved to 3rd and 4th grade as a paraeducator. In 2017, Jumana was offered a position as an Assessment Director.  

Jumana serves as Assessment Director for four campuses: Summit Academy Draper, Summit Academy Independence, Summit Academy Bluffdale, and Summit Academy High School.  Assessments entail all statewide required assessments and optional assessments; for example, AP, CLEP, SAT, and PSAT/NMSQT.  

Throughout the years at Summit Academy, Jumana has developed many relationships with teachers, parents, and students across campuses.
