Biography

My name is Jacque Schmidt and I have had the honor of being the Director of Special Education for the past 19 years. I started with Summit in 2004 and have loved every year. I have a Master of Education degree from Utah State University and have worked in the special education field for more than 28 years.

I started my career in Granite School District working with student in grades K-12 and later worked in a clinical setting at St. Mark’s Hospital. Working with the students, parents, teachers and administrators at Summit has been so rewarding and I look forward to helping students grow into amazing adults.
