I love teaching! It has been my passion to work with children and help motivate them to learn and grow for as long as I can remember! This is my 3rd year teaching, but my first year at Summit. This is also my 3rd year living in Utah. I was born and raised in New Jersey and am a proud Jersey girl! I graduated from James Madison University in 2017 where I studied Elementary Education. I graduated in the summer of 2023 from The University of Portland where I received my Masters of Arts in Teaching. Some of my favorite things to do are travel, bake, read, and spend time with my friends and family!
I am a huge proponent of social justice teaching in the classroom. I think it is so important to share stories of diversity, create an aware and accepting classroom, and educate a group of students to be conscious of the world they live in and want to take an active role to improve it.
