Biography

Alana Johnson has been a member of the Summit Academy learning community since 2008. She has worked as a junior high English teacher, instructional coach, and coordinator of several district programs including multi-tiered systems of supports and educator licensing. Ms. Johnson has a professional educator license with endorsements in English language arts, reading K-12, and instructional coaching. She holds an M.Ed. from Southern Utah University and a B.A. from Westminster College.

Ms. Johnson is dedicated to the amazing educators within Summit Academy Schools and strives to support their individualized professional learning. The best resource we have for our students are caring, committed, and inspired teachers.

She and her family, including a first grader attending Summit Academy, live and work in the surrounding community.
