This is my first year at Summit Academy and my 19th year teaching.

There is nothing  I like more then seeing my students faces light up when they figure out a math problem.

I am from Switzerland and love to share parts of my culture with my students.

Former News Producer turned Teacher.

Math is the best subject and 8th grade math has some of the best concepts the students have the opportunity to learn.

I have been teaching at Summit Academy Schools for a few years initially as a paraprofessional for Science and Math, a Robotics and Forensics teacher, and now continuing this year teaching Forensics and my second year of 8th grade science along with Makerspace.

I am from Switzerland and love to share parts of my culture with my students.  

I have had a passion for education since I was a child. I remember the exact day when I knew what my career choice would be.

I have worked in education since 1991 and at Summit Academy since 2016 in intervention/child find. I received a Master of Education degree from Utah State University.

 I love helping kids learn and find wonder in everything they do.

I am passionate about helping students achieve their best.

 I began volunteering in the classes which led me to working as an Paraeducator.

I work with Support Services and the amazing staff and fabulous students.

I have been at Summit Academy for 17 years as the coordinator and LOVE IT!

I love Summit!  My husband and I served on a parent advisory board from the very beginning of Summit.

 I have loved getting to know my most excellent 5th-grade students; seeing their progress and growth has been rewarding.

I really love teaching, seeing, and helping your child grow in the Spanish language.

 I believe I have the best job in the world and I really enjoy coming to work everyday.

 I am a life long learner and believe the knowledge we gain can and should be shared in positive ways through the sharing of ideas and genuine kindness.  

I love teaching at Summit. I have spent over 17 years teaching all those awesome Jr. high students.

 I love to share the art of dance as well as work with kids on their communication needs.
